Korean High School Teachers visit Entrepreneurship At School-program

In January 2020, a team of 5 South Korean high school teachers, visits The Netherlands for a couple of days to learn more about entrepreneurship education. One of the educational institutes they will visit, is EURObizz Academy in The Hague on January 17, 2020.

The teachers participate in the Asan Teacher-Preneur program, a teacher training program for accelerating entrepreneurship education. The Asan Nanum Foundation in Seoul, Korea runs this program. Each team embarks on a global study trip; it contributes to get even more insight from overseas institutions related to entrepreneurship education.

The Asan Nanum Foundation is a nonprofit foundation in Seoul. It was established in October 2011 to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the death of Hyundai founder Chung Ju-yung. The foundation is carrying out various programs throughout the society to spread the entrepreneurship that inherited Asan’s creative spirit.

To foster the people and institutions that drive change into a better world, they wanted to create a foundation for young entrepreneurs and social innovators. This way they can help them to challenge, grow and share. Above all, this all is carried out under the vision of “A world where if you believe it, you can achieve it.” We know that entrepreneurship and education can have a positive impact for life on youngsters. Therefore, as EURObizz Academy, we underline this vision!

The Asan Nanum Foundation is promoting diverse programs spreading entrepreneurship, supporting young entrepreneurship, and enhancing non-profit competency. We are confident, that this can be the start of more future interaction on crossnational entrepreneurship education. Together we can bring this to a new level within the ducational sector and cross bridges to achieve that.

During their visit, we provide them with a basic teachers training of our educational program Entrepreneurship At School. As a result of our unique combination between being a company of entrepreneurs and an educational institute for short vocational education, our program is appealing to them. It certainly will be our pleasure to share our expertise.
